DECA: A Tool for Automatic Decomposition of Galaxy Images

DEComposition Analysis (DECA) is a Python wrapper to perform mass 2D bulge/disk decomposition of face-on, not highly inclined and edge-on galaxies. It is based on using some popular astrophysical software (IRAF, SExtractor, GALFIT) as well as some standard and specific python modules. DECA allows a scientist just to put an image with the galaxy and specify some lines about the image and the object in the input file. There is no need to guess at initial values of parameters because DECA will do it for you.
